Growth Conditions: Duration: in vivo, hamster Protocol: ATCCNO: 30090 SPEC: Serial passage in young hamsters (for best results) or laboratory mice. Inject 0.2-0.5 ml of an ampule intraperitoneally into 2 or 3 young hamsters (6-8 weeks old). Gametocytes develop best in hamsters. Inject 0.2-0.5 ml from the heart for serial passage.
