Comments : A recombinant virus consisting of an HSV-TK insert in a TK- vaccinia (vTK-79). The recombinant expresses the HSV-TK. Two copies of the herpes virus BamHI fragment coding for TK were cloned (head to tail) into the BamHI site of the vaccinia virus HindIII F-fragment. This construct was cloned into VTK-79 (ATCCVR-2031) by in vivo recombination. [13123]
