Comments : A recombinant virus containing but not expressing the HSV-thymidine kinase gene. Does not express the gene insert. [13123] A BamHI fragment coding for herpes TK was cloned into the BamHI site of the vaccinia HindIII F-fragment. This construct was then cloned into VTK-79 (ATCCVR-2031) by in vivo recombination.
