Incubation : Duration: 4-10 days at 37C in CE (y.s.); 2 days at 37C in TC
Effect : Yes, in vitro effects: Cytopathic effects (inclusions) in tissue culture Yes, in vivo effects: death of chicken embryo
Comments : Large doses do not affect GP, pigeons or lambs. Feed infected cells with EMEM (HEPES buffered) supplemented with 10% FBS, 5mg/ml glucose, 0.3mg/ml glutamine, 1ug/ml cycloheximide.
