Effect : Yes, in vivo effects: Paralysis and death develops in mice under 48 hours of age after i.p. inoculation of 10% suspension of torso and brain. Degeneration of muscle fibers including loss of striation occurs
Comments : It is recommended that for maximum titer both brain and limbs be harvested and mice not older than 1 day be employed for titration.
