Comments : This holding consists of CRFK cells chronically infected with FIV. This strain of FIV-Petaluma grows with some difficulty on primary peripheral blood mononuclear cells and may be less pathogenic for cats. However it has all of the in vitro properties of the parent strain. This preparation has tested positive for Mycoplasma hyorhinis by PCR. This strain of Mycoplasma does not grow in agar.
