Comments : Centrifugation (2000 X g for 1 hr.) and addition of cycloheximide recommended for passage in cell culture. *Requests for this agent must carry signed statement assuming all risks and responsibility for lab handling. Triturate fluid several times to disperse chlamydia. For cell culture, centrifuge inoculumn, adsorb for 1 hour and feed with HEPES buffered culture medium. Centrifugation (2000 X g for 1 hr.) and addition of cycloheximide recommended for passage in cell culture.
