Effect : Yes, in vitro effects: Cytopathic effects with high L-tryptophan; slight or cryptic (stained cells in plaques) with low L-tryptophan
Store at : -70C
Comments : Requires high concentration of L-tryptophan for clear plaques at 37C, pH 7.0 - 7.5 on primary rhesus or cynomolgus monkey cells in tissue culture. Mutates to virus similar to wild type Mabie strain.
