Effect : Yes, Cytopathic effect: Rounding and sloughing of infected cells
Comments : Selected after mutagenesis with nitrosoguanidine. The non-permissive incubation temperature is 39.5oC. This mutant was assigned to Dales EM category K, indicating that it produces granular foci in infected cells and immature particles with nucleoids that lack internal dense material. The mutation was assigned by complementation analysis (Lackner, et al, 2003) to vaccinia map location U4.
