Comments : Reported to cause syncytial CPE in CEK TC with subsequent necrosis of cells. For passage in eggs, clarify sample and use supenatant fluid for inoculum via allantoic cavity. Chill eggs for harvest when one or two enbryos are dead and the remainder are week or sluggish.
