Spleen cells were fused with PAI myeloma cells.
The antibody cross-reacted with some cases of fibrocystic mammary disease and one of two colon carcinomas tested.
It did not react with normal tissue nor with 17 of 18 non-mammary malignancies tested.
Propagation: ATCC complete growth medium: Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 0.1 mM hypoxanthine, 0.02 mM thymidine, 0.01 mM 2-mercaptoethanol, and non-essential amino acids, 90%; horse serum, 10%
