ATCC medium: 2369 Potato dextrose agar, 1/3 strength
Diced potatoes...................300.0 g
Dextrose...........................6.67 g
Agar..............................15.0 g
Distilled deionized water..........1.0 L
Simmer finely diced potatoes in 500 ml of water for 1 hour. Filter through cheesecloth to remove large particles. Add water to bring to 1.0 L. This is the single strength potato infusion. Combine 333 ml of potato infusion and 667 ml of water.
Add agar and bring to a boil. Add dextrose. Dispense as required and autoclave at 121C for 15 minutes.
