Prepare two solutions of 500 ml each, one with yeast extract and tryptone, and the other with the salts.
Adjust the pH of the yeast extract-tryptone solution to 7.4. Autoclave the solutions separately. Mix and dispense aseptically. Adjust final pH to 7.4, if necessary.
